Just wonder in what sequence the SpamFilter checks for spam out of all its spam conditions? MAPS? IP black list? etc. Can I change the sequence of checking?

How does rejection work then? If a email is blacklisted, does SpamFilter accept the mesg or just disconnect, assumming there's no quarantine setup.

The problem I have is that some emails are flagged and quarantined as No Reverse DNS, but they contain *.exe attachments. If any email with blacklisted attachment, I want SpamFilter to drop it immediately without generating a NDR or quarantine, then it can go on to check other criteria and see if the email is a possible spam.

I don't agree with the White List keyword.  Good in concept, but if I have nothing in it, please proceed with dropping the spammer if they are shown to be blacklisted.  The best deterant for reducing spam is going to come by rejecting emails or just dropping them.  Otherwise they know they are getting through to a valid email server.  If they get enough rejects, they will discontinue sending to that address.  At least that is my perception.  Ever since the white list keyword has been added, my spam count has continued at a higher percentage of emails than before.  We have to make it harder, more difiicult and frustrating for these morons out there.

PS  I love the country filter......ever notice how much spam is coming from other countries. I've blocked all countries except for the US.  I know that doesn't work for everybody. But wow what a nice feature!

I asked this question before. Does the new version allow us to manipulate the rejection sequence? I really want to put some filters in front of others. For example, if it has an *.exe attachment, it should be dropped before anything else.

Right now, majority of my catches are Reverse DNS not found, but many of them have the same To and From domain, contain viruses, and contain blacklisted keywords.
