I do not know if this was done by design but it got my attention which is the Spammers intent. Ad a result of the time stamp, I had to hunt for the unread message and this is not an isolated case:

Received: from 222.228.205.41 by mx01.my.domain (LogSat Software SMTP Server) Wed, 24 May 2006 02:31:10 -0400
Message-ID: <000001c67f26$990eb300$0100007f@localhost>
From: "Zackary Turner" <mmckenna2@verkaufsladen.com>
To: <support@my.domain>
Subject: The Industries leading enhancement product, now on sale!
Date: Mon, 22 Jul 2002 01:07:42 +0900
MIME-Version: 1.0

So, Any way to block messages that were "sent" more than "X" days ago?

Actually, there was a request for spamassasin feature some time ago. This could solve issues with wrong dates, forged mail clients, etc.
