Ok we have a pop3 account on our server setup for one of our users that works offsite. So this is the problem she can recieve emails but can not send. Now I think I have a slight understanding as to why. Because this software works based of changing the ports, the port of which her pop3 account is using so that she can push out her email is set to 25 which is the same port the Spam Filter software is running off. She gets her incoming from port 110. So she recieves her emails fine as stated earlier just cannot send out. Please advise as to what type of settings can be changed within the spam filter software so that her account some how gets bypassed or how I can change her port from 25 to 24 which is what the exchanged is set to now.

SpamFilter by default only allows emails to be sent to your "Local Domains", which are the domains you own. This is to prevent spammers from using your server as an open relay, which would allow them to "bounce" email from your server.
 
This is why your customer is not able to send emails if she has your SpamFilter's name/IP in her client's "Outgoing SMTP Server" configuration.
 
The simplest solution in your case, if you have a small number of users with this issue, is to add the IP ranges of those users in a whitelist.
This can be done from SpamFilter's "Settings - Black/White Lists" tab, under the "Excluded Domains / IPs" setting. Simple add either her IP address (ex. 192.168.23.90), or her whole class C of addresses (ex. 192.168.23.*) in that list.
 
The new version of SpamFilter v3.1 that was released last month also supports authentication of users via Active Directory or LDAP. This allows SpamFilter to allow all users who successfully authenticate to be able to send emails thru it.
